Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle SQL/PL/SQL development in Banking & Financial Services.
• Strong SQL performance tuning, indexing, and data integrity expertise.
• Experience with enterprise banking transactions and data modeling.
• Hands-on contributor; not limited to DBA/production support roles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and objects.
• Write advanced SQL with complex joins, analytical functions, subqueries, bulk processing, and large data sets.
• Tune SQL/PLSQL performance, analyze execution plans, optimize indexing and queries.
• Enhance database components supporting banking applications, payments, and core banking functions.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable database solutions.
• Troubleshoot defects, fix data inconsistencies, preserve data integrity.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, QA, and banking stakeholders through the lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, documentation, and deployments.
