Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 8 years of strong hands-on development experience and proven expertise in the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate must possess excellent SQL/PLSQL programming skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience developing and optimizing complex database solutions for banking applications.

Candidates must be strong individual contributors with extensive hands-on coding experience. Profiles focused primarily on DBA activities, production support, or maintenance without substantial development experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Oracle SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and database objects.

• Write advanced SQL queries involving complex joins, analytical functions, subqueries, bulk processing, and large datasets.

• Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, execution plan analysis, indexing, and query optimization.

• Develop and enhance database components supporting banking applications, financial transactions, account processing, payments, and other core banking functions.

• Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable database solutions.

• Troubleshoot coding defects, resolve data inconsistencies, and optimize database logic while maintaining data integrity.

• Collaborate with business analysts, application developers, QA teams, and banking stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL: Expert-level hands-on development experience.
