Job summary

GSK Solutions Inc. is seeking a senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join a hybrid on-site team in Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize database objects, PL/SQL code, and data integrations within an Oracle environment.

You will work on data migration, ETL processes, and vendor-hosted COTS solutions, collaborating with architects and DBAs. The role requires 8+ years of Oracle PL/SQL experience, strong data modeling, and experience with web services (SOAP/REST).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development experience (packages, procedures, functions).
• Experience with data analysis, data quality, and metadata management.
• Experience leading data-related tasks for vendor hosted or COTS systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database objects to support integrations.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions for ETL and business logic.
• Lead data migration and conversion tasks for new implementations and upgrades.
• Develop and consume SOAP/REST web services for data integrations with vendor solutions.
• Analyze data and metadata to ensure accuracy and governance.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and DBAs on performance tuning and best practices.
• Troubleshoot data issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and technical design sessions.
