Executive Staff Recruiters / ESR Healthcare seeks a senior Data Developer for an Oracle/ COTS environment in Lansing, MI. You will design, develop, and maintain database structures, PL/SQL code, and data integrations to support enterprise applications and data services.

You will lead data migration tasks, develop web services for integrations, and collaborate with architects, DBAs, and vendors to ensure data quality and performance. 8+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Senior level Application Data Developer with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience in Oracle database environment supporting agency applications and data services.
• Design, develop, and maintain database structures, PL/SQL code, and data integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes, triggers, constraints).
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions for business logic and ETL.
• Support data modeling activities, including logical/physical models and normalization.
• Lead data migration and data conversion tasks for new implementations and upgrades.
• Develop and consume web services (SOAP/REST) for data integrations between systems.
• Analyze data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, DBAs, and vendors on performance tuning and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot data issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Participate in planning, estimation, and technical design sessions.
