Job summary

A leading IT Systems Integrator is seeking an Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator in Columbia, SC, for a 12+ month position. The ideal candidate will have Medicaid experience and at least 5 years in administration of Oracle systems. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining middleware components and supporting developers in their activities. Strong communication skills and experience with HIPAA transactions are essential. This role plays a key part in a large State project, aiming to modernize Medicaid management systems.

Qualifications

• Must have State Government Medicaid (MMIS) experience.
• Minimum 5 years of administration and maintenance experience with HIPAA transaction sets.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Service Bus.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer Oracle Fusion Middleware infrastructure components.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning and system optimization.
• Support developers in development-oriented activities.

Skills

Experience with high-performance, open source web technologies

Experience in managing, maintaining, and deploying web applications for heavy volume sites

Knowledge of the HIPAA X12 transactions

Configuration and administration of Oracle Fusion Middleware infrastructure components

Performance tuning, infrastructure upgrades and system resource optimization

Applied experience using Oracle Fusion B2B

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Science
