Job summary

MSG Entertainment is seeking an Oracle Fusion Financial Senior Analyst to configure, administer, and support Fusion Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Expenses, FAH) in a live production environment at our New York site.

You will partner with Finance, IT, and Procurement to ensure reliable processes, accurate accounting, and timely close, while leading incident triage, patch coordination, and UAT for quarterly releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in Oracle Fusion Financials.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Hands-on experience with at least GL, AP, AR, FA, and Expenses (depth in 2–3 modules).
• Strong knowledge of P2P, O2C, GL close, and fixed asset lifecycle.
• Experience troubleshooting accounting results and transactions; familiarity with SLA concepts.
• Experience with data loads (FBDI/ADFdi) and journal flows.
• Experience with OTBI and/or BI Publisher reporting support.
• Strong communication skills with Finance leaders, end users, and IT teams.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet tight deadlines (close).

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Oracle Fusion Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, Expenses, FAH in a production environment.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support including incident triage, root cause analysis, issue resolution, and user support, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Monitor scheduled processes and interfaces; resolve failures and proactively identify recurring issues.
• Coordinate patching impacts with stakeholders; validate changes and communicate release impacts.
• Support and troubleshoot Subledger Accounting (SLA/FAH) setups and accounting outcomes across AP/AR/FA/Expenses.
• Resolve accounting exceptions such as posting failures, invalid accounts, journal import issues, and balancing problems.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining accounting controls, reconciliation routines, and audit support documentation
• Period status management, close dependencies, and close issue resolution
• Subledger to GL reconciliation support (AP/AR/FA/Expenses)
• Support for financial reporting, trial balance tie‑outs, and variance analysis
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot cross-functional issues, and deliver system enhancements.
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements to optimize system performance, reduce manual effort, and enhance data accuracy.
• Support Oracle Fusion quarterly release testing by reviewing release notes, assessing functional impact, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
