Job summary

Mphasis in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Quality Engineering Consultant for Oracle Fusion ERP. You will translate business process designs into executable test bases, lead functional test execution through UAT, and coordinate with offshore QE resources.

The role requires deep ERP domain knowledge, a track record in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, and the ability to own test scope from design through close. Travel-ready and able to work in a dispersed, multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in QA/QE, incl 6+ years leading functional test delivery on Oracle Financials/ERP implementations.
• At least one full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation owned from design through go-live.
• Functional depth to independently design scenarios for period close, consolidation, subledger accounting, and procure-to-pay flows.
• Practical accounting literacy: COA, ledger structures, intercompany, accruals, reconciliation, and close.
• Experience testing procure-to-pay end to end: requisitioning, POs, supplier onboarding, invoices, matching, payment.
• Hands-on data conversion validation and reconciliation for financial data.
• Experience with integration/interface testing in a complex ERP landscape.
• Experience leading offshore test resources and reviewing offshore artifacts.
• Proficient with enterprise test management tooling and traceability.
• Strong written communication and sponsorship-ready for US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Own the ERP test basis: derive test conditions and scenarios from enterprise structure design and configuration workbooks.
• Author and review functional test scenarios across the ERP and SCM footprint.
• Lead functional test execution through system, end-to-end, and UAT; oversee offshore QE work.
• Own ERP integration test scenarios across Finance interfaces; coordinate with technical teams.
• Define and validate ERP data conversion test scenarios with Test Data Manager.
• Validate financial controls and SoD scenarios in coordination with risk workstreams.
• Facilitate UAT for Finance and Procurement business users: session prep and defect resolution.
• Triage ERP defects with SI and configuration teams; act as a functional analyst.
• Specify automation candidates and regression scope for automation engineers.
