Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Oracle Fusion ERP Functional Test Lead to ensure quality and delivery of Oracle Fusion ERP implementations across finance, procurement, and data conversion. You will lead SIT/UAT cycles, validate data migration, and collaborate with ERP consultants and offshore teams.

The role emphasizes owning end-to-end testing, managing defects, and coordinating with automation engineers to shape long-term testing strategy. Hybrid role with onsite presence in Seattle, WA.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Enterprise Application Testing.
• 6+ years of experience leading functional testing for Oracle ERP or Oracle Financials implementations.
• Experience owning testing activities for at least one full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation from design through go-live.
• Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Financials processes including General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, Period Close, Consolidation, Accounting Hub, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience designing and executing test scenarios independently, without requiring detailed guidance from ERP functional consultants.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios derived from COA configuration and Oracle Fusion ERP settings.
• Lead functional testing across SIT, UAT, and release validation cycles.
• Own ERP integration testing across finance and procurement ecosystems including banking, tax, and data platforms.
• Define and validate data conversion and migration test scenarios for financial data.
• Validate financial controls, approval workflows, and SoD requirements with risk stakeholders.
• Facilitate UAT sessions with Finance and Procurement users, managing test execution and defect tracking.
• Drive defect triage and resolution with Oracle consultants and integration teams.
