Job summary

Horizontal Talent is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a contract-to-hire engagement to shape the technical solution from the ground up on Oracle Fusion Cloud. You will partner with a system integrator and stakeholders to design, implement, test, and productionize end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to design docs, participate in on-call rotations, and help ensure scalable, maintainable software across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud is required.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Strong documentation and design artifacts creation.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Partner with system integrator and stakeholders to design and engineer end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.
• Develop, configure, integrate, and support technical solutions on the Oracle Fusion Cloud platform.
• Translate business and functional needs into technical designs and implementation plans.
• Create and maintain technical design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in planning, system design, development, testing, maintenance, and support activities.
• Review code and design approaches with team members to ensure quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot issues and support testing, including issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align architecture, data requirements, and integration needs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Support application maintenance and production needs, including on-call rotation.
