Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a Senior Oracle Expert to support a federal agency project in Huntsville, AL. The role requires active Top Secret clearance and 100% onsite work.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years of data engineering or database development experience, expertise in Oracle technologies, and a strong background in Agile development. A BS in CS or related field is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Experience with data migration projects and data quality validation.
• Proficient in Java or Python for data processing and automation.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile/Scrum sprints, contributing to design, code reviews, testing, and documentation.

Job Description

Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. Participates as needed in all phases of development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases. Typically requires specialization in particular software or business application utilized in an end user environment. Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications.

Key Responsibilities
