Job summary

FutureX Management Solutions is seeking a Senior/Lead Oracle Exadata DBA (L3/L4) for a permanent remote role. You will own Exadata administration, RAC/ASM/Data Guard, and end-to-end migration programs, delivering high-availability solutions and expert SME guidance across global teams.

You will design, document, and implement migration strategies, patching cycles, and DR plans, collaborating with architecture, development, and infrastructure squads while maintaining immediate joining readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Systems, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive professional experience in Oracle database administration and Exadata infrastructure management.
• Hands-on expertise in Oracle Database 19c/21c and Exadata Database Machine.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Experience configuring Oracle GoldenGate replication and Exadata patching (OEDA).
• Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Manager and Oracle Linux Administration.
• Experience with Exadata migration programs and architecture documentation.
• Immediate joining availability for permanent remote operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, optimize, and maintain Oracle Exadata Database Machine environments.
• Manage Oracle RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, and Data Guard clusters.
• Lead end-to-end migrations using RMAN, Data Pump, GoldenGate, and Transportable Tablespaces.
• Document current/target architectures and create HLD/LLD artifacts.
• Prepare migration runbooks, cutover plans, and rollback procedures.
• Perform quarterly Exadata patching using OEDA and patchmgr.
• Drive performance tuning, capacity planning, and DR strategies.
• Provide SME mentorship to database engineering teams.
