Job summary

Global Business Ser. 4u is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to support our Dallas-based environment on a hybrid schedule. The role requires deep expertise across Oracle 12c/18c/19c, Exadata, RAC, and disaster recovery strategies.

You will own backup/recovery, patching, performance tuning, and production issue resolution, working closely with DevOps and IT teams to ensure high availability and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant Oracle DBA experience.
• Strong knowledge of Exadata, RMAN, Data Guard and RAC.
• Experience with performance tuning using AWR and Explain Plan.
• Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL development and database design concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle Exadata environments including installation, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
• Configure and administer Oracle 12c/18c/19c databases; implement backup/recovery strategies (RMAN).
• Monitor performance, tune databases, and resolve production incidents.
• Implement Data Guard, RAC configurations, and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize SQL queries and data models.
