Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Senior Oracle ERP Software Engineer at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will design and develop complex multi-system applications and drive collaboration to ensure timely project completion while implementing unit and system testing processes. You will work with Oracle EBS and other ERP applications, using Java, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, BI Publisher, and Oracle APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or related field with 5+ years experience OR equivalent
• Strong academic record (GPA ≥3.0)
• Experience implementing technology solutions and designing multi-system applications
• Proficiency in secure coding practices and modern SDLC processes
• Experience with version control systems such as Subversion or Git
• Proven ability to collaborate and drive projects to timely completion
• Proficient in Java, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, Oracle Workflow and Oracle APIs
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle 11i or R12

Responsibilities

• Leads complex multi-system application development projects and collaborates with teams
• Designs and develops enterprise applications including Oracle EBS and related ERP integrations
• Develops and maintains integrations between Oracle E-Business Suite and other ERP apps
• Mentors junior engineers and contributes to design reviews
• Supports testing processes and SDLC activities
