Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates to develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications in a Madison, WI setting. You will write PL/SQL scripts, configure modules, and troubleshoot issues while supporting business processes and data integration.

The role requires deep Oracle EBS knowledge, strong SQL/PLSQL skills, and experience with GL, Cash Management, and Treasury modules. A robust SDLC background is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust (sponsor dependent).
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with Oracle EBS development tools.
• EBS core financial accounting knowledge with GL, Cash Mgmt, Treasury experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of business processes in financial modules.
• Experience with data integrity, SDLC, and system optimization.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 15+ years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience.
• Oracle APEX experience or similar report writer.
• Oracle E-Business Suite R12 experience.
• Procurement and projects costing module experience.

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: design and develop custom apps, reports, extensions, and workflows in Oracle EBS.
• Integration: build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration via XML Publisher or APIs.
• Technical support: provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, root cause analysis.
• System administration: perform analysis, upgrades, and ensure performance and data integrity.
• Testing: conduct functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Documentation: create and maintain detailed development process docs.
