Job summary

SMX is seeking accomplished Associates to develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications. You will write PL/SQL scripts, configure modules, troubleshoot issues, and support business processes while collaborating with functional teams to meet client requirements.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL/PL/SQL skills, Oracle EBS experience, and a track record with data migration and integrations. A bachelor’s degree and 10+ years’ experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Active clearance or public trust based on sponsor.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, AME, along with experience in Oracle EBS and development tools.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Reports, and OAF.
• Experience in iProcurement, Purchasing, and CLM.
• Deep understanding of accounting and LOA configuration.
• Familiarity with Oracle 12.2.x schemas and ability to write queries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience with requirements gathering, testing, and solution design.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience; postgraduate study may substitute for experience.
• Experience creating technical documentation.
• Oracle APEX experience (or similar report writer).

Responsibilities

• Development and customization: design and develop custom apps, reports, extensions, and workflows within Oracle EBS.
• Integration: build and maintain interfaces for data migration and integration with other systems (XML Publisher / APIs).
• Technical support: provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, root cause analysis.
• System administration: analyze systems, conduct upgrades, ensure performance and data integrity.
• Testing: perform functional testing and debugging of RICE components.
• Documentation: create and maintain detailed development process docs.
