Significance Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to support a federal program, contingent upon award.

This role is primarily remote, with occasional onsite support at the Department of Labor (DOL) office in Washington, DC, and requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust. You will own the Oracle database tier across NCFMS environments, ensuring health, performance, security, and recoverability, and you will serve as the escalation point for production database issues that threaten

Qualifications

• 9 years of progressive database administration experience, six (6) of those nine years administering Oracle E-Business Suite in production environments.
• Experience with Oracle RDBMS installation, configuration, security hardening, tablespace management, data integrity.
• Ability to run backups, DR/COOP, recovery and annual contingency testing.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle RDBMS: installation, configuration, security, and data integrity.
• Tune and monitor database performance; plan capacity.
• Administer Oracle middle tier and middleware; manage SSL certificates.
• Execute backup, restore, and secure off-site transfer.
• Run COOP and Disaster Recovery with DR-to-production syncs.
• Manage multi-instance lifecycle across environments per approved plan.
• Monitor performance and system availability against uptime requirements.
• Implement security controls per NIST SP 800-53 and DISA STIGs.
• Prepare deployment plans and client deliverables.
