Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Senior Oracle Developer to join the Information Technology Department in Los Angeles. The role focuses on SQL/PLSQL development in Oracle 19c or higher, optimizing performance, and supporting enterprise software initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of experience with Oracle and strong communication skills, with the ability to mentor other developers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SQL/PLSQL development in Oracle 19c or higher.
• Proven experience with Oracle performance tuning.
• Experience supporting critical, high-volume transactional databases.
• Experience using TOAD and OEM Cloud Control for development and monitoring.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers in Oracle 19c.
• Tune and optimize SQL and PL/SQL for performance and scalability.
• Maintain shared tooling to support partitioning and purging.
• Guide execution plan optimization and statistics gathering.
• Mentor and support Oracle developers across projects.
