Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in indexing strategies, execution plans, and performance tuning.
• Ability to establish baselines, analyze metrics, and prove measurable improvements.
• Experience with distributed SQL and cross-platform data retrieval via Starburst/Trino.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions.
• Develop efficient SQL queries for enterprise databases.
• Tune SQL to reduce CPU, I/O, and memory usage.
• Establish performance baselines and benchmark improvements.
• Use Explain Plan, TKPROF, SQL Trace, AWR/ASH to diagnose performance issues.
• Collaborate with developers and DBAs to resolve bottlenecks.
