Job summary

CVP seeks a Senior Oracle Developer to support the Census Bureau on a temporary 1099 engagement through November 30, 2026. Responsibilities include analysis, design, secure coding, testing, and troubleshooting large Oracle databases with ETL processes.

Proficiency in PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, and Java is desired; cloud and data exchange experience is a plus. You will collaborate with multiple teams, use Jira/GitHub/ServiceNow for change management, and maintain data interfaces to external

Qualifications

• Requires Public Trust government security clearance (US Citizenship).
• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5+ years of IT software development experience.
• Experience with Oracle 19c Developer's Suite (Forms/Reports).
• Familiarity with SDLC and Change Management tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with large Oracle data warehouses and ETL data sources.
• Advanced PL/SQL and ProC languages knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform systems analysis, design, and development.
• Design and implement secure code for software applications.
• Conduct testing and maintain large software applications.
• Follow Software Configuration Management practices.
• Develop iteratively and troubleshoot production applications.
• Support other developers with technical solutions.
• Evaluate alternatives for software and data exchange formats.
• Develop with Oracle databases and PL/SQL; work with XML/JSON/CSV data.
