Job summary

CDIT LLC is seeking an experienced Database Developer to design, develop, and optimize database-driven applications in a secure, mission-critical environment. You will work with Oracle PL/SQL, ORDS, REST APIs, and web technologies to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The role requires 6+ years of development experience, strong Oracle expertise, and a track record in data migration, security, and production deployments in a government/national security setting. Clearances may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant development experience.
• Experience with Oracle Database 19c or higher.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and relational databases.
• Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining web applications.
• Proven data migration experience.
• Experience with ORDS and Tomcat.
• Unix/Linux shell scripting and basic admin.
• Experience with JSON in Oracle.
• Security controls across app and database.
• Experience with testing, change management, and production deployments.
• Git version control familiarity.
• Active Top Secret clearance with Lifestyle Polygraph (LS Poly).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Develop efficient queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Plan and execute data migration activities, including mapping, transformation, and validation.
• Develop, test, debug, and deploy software components through change management.
• Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement and maintain security controls across stack.
• Support ORDS and middleware like Tomcat.
• Perform light Unix administration and shell scripting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement integrated solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and system designs.
