Job summary

Technogen is looking for an Oracle DBA SME for a long-term project in Baltimore, Maryland. The role involves administration of databases, design & development of database schemas, and providing mentorship to junior staff.

Ideal candidates will have over 9 years of experience with Oracle databases, excellent communication skills, and expertise in various Oracle technologies including PL/SQL, RMAN, and Data Guard.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Oracle DBA.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience preparing technical specifications.
• Expertise with troubleshooting and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Administer databases throughout the development and production lifecycles.
• Design and develop logical and physical database designs from customer requirements.
• Provide mentorship to group members and help develop and support mid and junior level staff.
• May be scheduled for after-hours on-call support.
