Job summary

Imagineeer is seeking an experienced Oracle DBA/Developer to join our team supporting the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) HRIT contract. You will modernize HR and payroll data by consolidating data file exchanges and building Oracle-based intake/processing workflows.

You will analyze a large enterprise HR data environment, document table usage, and develop PL/SQL packages and ETL processes while performing DBA tasks including tuning, backups, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CIS, IT, or related field.
• 6+ years as Oracle DBA and/or Oracle Developer.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL/PL/SQL with performance tuning.
• Experience building ETL for flat-file ingestion (fixed-width and delimited).
• Experience creating file format specifications for external exchanges.
• Experience standardizing and consolidating data file processes.
• Experience working with OPM file exchanges.
• Ability to analyze large data sets to determine purpose and downstream usage.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate CIDB files and liaise with OPM to provide CIDB Full/Abbreviated.
• Standardize intake/format/processing of Admin SAC Codes file from OPM.
• Standardize Paytran file intake and develop a format spec for OPM.
• Analyze EHCM data dump across 100+ tables to map usage and data exchanges.
• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL packages, procedures, and ETL processes.
• Perform Oracle DBA tasks including performance tuning, backups, security.
• Produce data dictionaries, data lineage, and SOPs.
