Focused HR Solutions in South Miami, FL is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator for a hybrid role. The position supports Oracle DB 19c, OCI and PeopleSoft ERP database administration in a mid-length engagement in Miami.

The assignment is up to 6 months with potential extension; candidates should bring extensive Oracle experience, strong patching, security, backup/restore, performance tuning, and on-site/remote coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Oracle Database Administration experience focusing on 19c (installation, upgrade, security, backup and recovery, performance monitoring and tuning, resizing and restructuring)
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience and PeopleSoft ERP database administration
• At least 10 years of Oracle experience including installation, patching, troubleshooting, and backup/restore; 5+ years in programming or system maintenance and problem determination

Responsibilities

• Install, patch and troubleshoot Oracle databases.
• Perform backup and recovery operations and verify data integrity.
• Monitor and tune database performance for productivity and reliability.
• Restructure and resize databases as needed for growth or optimization
