Job summary

Diverse Lynx LLC in Atlanta, GA and Dallas, TX seeks an Oracle L2 Database Administrator responsible for maintaining production Oracle databases, performing backups, tuning, and ensuring high availability in a 24/7 operation.

The candidate must have at least 6 years of hands-on Oracle experience, a bachelor’s degree, and relevant certifications. The role is onsite and full-time with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering Oracle databases in production environments.
• RMAN backups (full & incremental), restore operations, and archive log management.
• Identify tablespace and storage growth risks; validate database integrity.
• Execute Oracle changes per runbooks, including upgrades and patching.
• ITSM processes using ServiceNow: Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management.
• Oracle performance monitoring with AWR/ASH, slow SQL, wait-event diagnostics.
• Package and elevate complex SQL and performance issues to L3 DBAs.
• Backup validation and restores; support for recovery and DR exercises.
• Oracle security operations: user/role management, privileges, password enforcement.
• Audit & compliance activities for Oracle environments; evidence collection and remediation.
• Provide 24x7 operational support in rotating shifts.
