Job summary
BCBS Global Solutions is seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise database solutions with a primary focus on Oracle technologies. You will work across the SDLC in Agile and Waterfall environments, delivering secure, scalable data platforms and supporting ETL with SSIS and SQL Server.
The role requires hands‑on expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, data modeling, tuning, and troubleshooting, plus mentoring junior developers and collaborating with cross‑functional teams
Qualifications
- Expert-level Oracle database development experience (PL/SQL, SQL, DML/DDL, performance tuning).
- Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS; willingness to learn as needed.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, optimize, and maintain Oracle database solutions and objects (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views).
- Support SQL Server solutions with T-SQL; develop ETL/SSIS and data integration pipelines.
- Design and implement data warehouse solutions with relational and dimensional models.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation; troubleshoot complex database issues across environments.
- Participate in SDLC activities using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Contribute to AI-enabled data solutions and iPaaS integrations; mentor junior developers.
