Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Senior Database Developer to design and build the new platform supporting fixed income portfolio analytics. The platform uses a distributed services architecture with Oracle databases and Python/Java-centric development, focusing on scalable data models and robust ETL processes.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, implement PL/SQL procedures, optimize performance, and ensure quality through tests and documentation. AWS exposure is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of applied work experience as a database developer on Oracle.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• ETL process development and automation experience.
• Desirable experience in cloud environments such as AWS.
• Strong focus on delivering quality, well-tested solutions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define design.
• Design data models and implement PL/SQL procedures on Oracle/PostgreSQL.
• Develop, maintain and support data used by systems.
• Optimize access from Java and integrate Oracle solutions.
• Triage and remediate performance and system issues.
• Lead or participate in Agile project efforts.
• Create system and training documentation as needed.
