Role: Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Clearance: Must hold an active TS/SCI

I am working with a leading Defense and Space organization, based in Fairfax, seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to support mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle 19c technologies and system administration practices in a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle 19c, Clusterware, and standalone database environments.
• Develop and manage comprehensive Oracle RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
• Configure, administer, and implement high availability concepts using Oracle Data Guard.
• Perform Oracle PL/SQL and SQL programming.
• Create and maintain automation scripts in Linux shell.

Required Experience:

• Oracle 19c RAC, Clusterware installation, patching, and administration.
• Oracle 19c ASM installation, configuration, and administration.
• Linux shell scripting experience.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and deployment of Oracle.
