Job summary

On-Demand Group is seeking a Senior Oracle EBS / Exadata DBA to join a collaborative Database Administration team supporting a large-scale Oracle environment. This hands-on role requires senior-level production support and ownership of critical EBS and Exadata environments.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of Oracle DBA experience with hands-on Oracle EBS 12.2 administration, ADOP/online patching, and strong production support skills. Public cloud exposure (OCI/DBaaS, Azure) is a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior Oracle EBS / Exadata DBA to join a collaborative Database Administration team supporting a large-scale, business-critical Oracle environment. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Oracle Applications DBA who can provide senior-level production support and serve as a key technical resource.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer Oracle EBS 12.2 and Oracle Exadata
• Perform ADOP/online patching, security patching, and scheduled maintenance
• Monitor and maintain production environments for stability and availability
• Troubleshoot complex Oracle database and EBS production issues
• Partner with the existing DBA team on day-to-day production support
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation

Required Experience

• 7+ years of Oracle DBA experience
• Senior-level Oracle EBS Applications DBA / Apps DBA experience
• Hands-on Oracle EBS 12.2 administration
• Hands-on ADOP / online patching experience
• Strong Oracle database administration and production support experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, OCI/Cloud DBaaS, or Azure is a plus.

• 6-month contract with potential for future full-time conversion (no sponsorship is provided at this time)

The projected hourly range for this position is $70 to $75.
