Next Generation, Inc., an Equal Opportunity Employer, is seeking a Senior Oracle Cloud Payroll Functional Lead to join our Nashville team. This hybrid role requires 60-70% onsite work in Nashville, with the remainder remote, overseeing end-to-end Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations for US and Canada.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll, leads workshops, guides data migrations and integrations, and can write Fast Formulas.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll.
• Experience with U.S. and Canadian payroll operations and compliance.
• Experience writing Fast Formulas for payroll.
• Strong understanding of data migration and system integrations (functional oversight, not coding).
• Participation in 5+ Oracle Cloud Payroll engagements, including at least 2 as Payroll Functional Lead.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end functional design and delivery for Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations.
• Serve as the primary Payroll Functional Lead across project workstreams; ensure alignment of requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into functional specs.
• Provide expertise in U.S. and Canadian payroll, including compliance and processing.
• Write Fast Formulas to support payroll rules, validations, and calculations.
• Direct data migration and integration activities; understand system interactions (coding not required).
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate functional design, integrations, and customizations.
• Conduct system testing, troubleshoot payroll issues, and support go-live and post-production activities.
• Provide end‑user training and change management support.
• Deliver high-quality documentation and maintain governance standards.
