Job summary

DePaul University in Chicago seeks a senior Oracle Cloud specialist to lead configurations, reports, interfaces, and security across HCM, ERP, and EPBCS. You will mentor developers and coordinate with HR, Payroll, and Finance to implement features and meet requirements.

The role requires 5–7 years of Oracle Cloud experience and a Bachelor's degree. You will work with Cloud admins on upgrades and stay current with cloud technologies, contributing to best practices across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5-7 years experience with Oracle's Cloud-based HCM, ERP and EPBCS modules.
• Experience in requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of Oracle Cloud applications.
• Experience with modules such as Recruiting, Talent Management, Benefits, Payroll, Purchasing, GL, AP, and Project Contracts.
• Higher education industry experience desirable.
• Advanced experience with BI reporting technologies (Oracle BI).
• Cloud security and workflows experience is desirable.
• Excellent planning, organizing and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Support Oracle Cloud modules - configurations, reports and interfaces, security, testing and user training.
• Provide expertise on new releases and functionality; advise on options, risks, and impacts; mentor developers/analysts.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance to implement features and meet requirements; configure Cloud accordingly.
• Coordinate with Cloud admins for upgrades/patches and impact assessment.
• Advance knowledge of best practices and new technologies to meet goals.
