Job summary

Oracle is seeking a hands-on senior Oracle APEX developer to build, enhance, secure, and support customer-facing APEX/OCI applications for federal clients. This role is largely independent with technical leadership responsibilities and end-to-end ownership of complex development work.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, translate requirements, mentor junior developers, and help guide development practices while adhering to federal security and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• 6+ years of progressive software or web development experience, including senior-level delivery.
• 4+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Oracle APEX applications.
• Build and optimize data models, SQL queries, PL/SQL, REST services, and integrations using ADB and ORDS.
• Implement secure patterns and support federal security, accessibility, and development standards.
• Work with product owners, analysts, architects, and federal stakeholders to deliver high-quality functionality.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies; provide estimates, identify risks, and propose solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor less-experienced developers.
