UPMC West Mifflin Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking an Operating Room RN to support a fast-paced surgical environment. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care before, during, and after procedures.

The role participates in UPMC's My Nursing Career Ladder, recognizing clinical excellence, leadership, and professional development to advance patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current RN licensure in the state or a compact license.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Certification is not required for nurses with a Master's degree in Nursing or DNP.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a unit leader through clinical expertise and evidence-based practice.
• Provide constructive feedback and participate in nursing peer review.
• Promote care quality and lead teams to improve the unit environment.
• Apply the nursing process to create individualized plans of care with patients and families.
• Communicate patient conditions and care recommendations to the interdisciplinary team.
