Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a seasoned optical assembly specialist to build and align high-precision components for defense systems. You will work with lenses, prisms, lasers, and related hardware, following drawings and SOPs to ensure tight tolerances and reliable performance. Ideal candidates have 7+ years of experience, familiarity with fluid dispensing, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in optical assembly, micro-assembly, or precision electronics manufacturing.
• Experience handling precision optical components.
• Familiarity with automated fluid dispensing systems.
• High attention to detail and able to lift 50 pounds.
• Able to multitask and adapt to new assignments on short notice.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Eligible for U.S. security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex optical and optomechanical components into housings per blueprints and SOPs.
• Align optical systems using lasers, collimators, interferometers, autocollimators, and microscopes.
• Complete production logs, DHRs, quality checklists, and enter test data into the company database.
• Troubleshoot assembly failures or misalignments and work with manufacturing engineers on corrective actions.
