Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Optical Assembly professional in the United States. You will assemble and align complex optical and optomechanical components, complete production logs, and troubleshoot misalignments in collaboration with manufacturing engineers.

The role requires 7+ years in optical or precision electronics manufacturing, familiarity with automated dispensing, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A US security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in optical assembly, micro-assembly, or precision electronics manufacturing.
• Experience handling precision optical components.
• Familiarity with automated fluid dispensing systems.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to carry 50 pounds for short periods.
• Ability to multitask and switch to new assignments quickly.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a United States Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and handle complex optical and optomechanical components into housings per blueprints and SOPs.
• Align optical systems using lasers, collimators, interferometers, autocollimators, and microscopes.
• Complete production logs, device history records, quality checklists, and input test data into the database.
• Troubleshoot assembly failures or misalignments and work with manufacturing engineers on corrective actions.
