Halo Industries, Inc. in Santa Clara, California is seeking a motivated NPI engineering intern to assist senior engineers in designing, building, testing, and documenting mechanical systems for new product introductions.
You will help transition designs to pilot manufacturing and ensure manufacturability and quality. Responsibilities include CAD modeling, BOMs, ECOs, prototype assembly, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.

The NPI engineering intern supports senior level engineers with the design, building, testing and documentation of mechanical systems, components, or tooling. The NPI team is responsible for transitioning new product designs from the development phase to pilot manufacturing, ensuring manufacturability, quality, manufacturing process testing, and successful launch of these complex machines. This role is at the intersection of design and manufacturing and therefore involves collaboration with design, manufacturing, supply chain and quality teams to proactively identify potential issues, develop solutions, and implement processes for a smooth New Product Introduction (NPI) and timely delivery of complex machines.
Salary Range : 20 – 25 USD per hour.
