Job summary

Maven is a market-leading proprietary trading firm expanding its US office in Chicago. We are seeking ambitious Options Market Makers with a proven profit/risk history to join the desk and trade a variety of instruments.

You will manage the options book daily, implement new strategies, collaborate with developers, and ensure strict regulatory compliance. A discretionary bonus is offered; visa sponsorship is not available for this role, and applicants must have the right to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Prior options trading experience.
• Proven P&L and market share history.
• Strong understanding of trading systems.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Familiar with automated options trading strategies.
• Interest in developing new trading strategies.
• Willingness to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Experience using AI-powered tools to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day responsibility of the options book.
• Rigorous risk management and perfect compliance with regulatory rules.
• Improving strategies through analysis, prototyping and collaboration with developers.
• Proactive behavior in helping other books achieve their goals through observation and analysis of trading behavior.
• Designing and implementing new trading strategies.
• Openness to trading new products and willingness to set them up.
• To comply with all applicable Compliance policies, procedures, laws and regulations.
