Job summary

Banyak Group in Chicago is seeking a Junior Options Market Maker to work closely with senior traders and engage in market making and proprietary trading of Agricultural options. You will develop and test strategies, and help optimize trading processes in a hands-on, collaborative setting.

This role offers exposure to automated and discretionary strategies, post-trade analysis, and collaboration with the technology team in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel, Python, and statistical modeling.
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Experience in decision-making and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute new automated and discretionary trading strategies.
• Partner with senior traders to design strategies, refine processes, and manage impactful projects.
• Enhance trading operations in collaboration with the technology team.
