Jenoptik in Jupiter, FL is seeking a System Test Technician III to lead opto-mechanical test activities for lens assemblies and prototypes. You will use advanced test equipment, document results, and update related procedures while serving as the main contact for new assemblies.

Candidates should have 6+ years in optical testing, expertise in MTF and wavefront testing, and hands-on experience with microscopes, power meters, spectrophotometers, and alignment telescopes.

Competenze

• More than 6 years’ experience testing optical components and systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MTF testing of precision optical assemblies.
• Advanced knowledge of wavefront testing of optical assemblies and components.
• Advanced knowledge of microscopes, power meters, spectrophotometers, and alignment telescopes.
• Advanced understanding of mechanical and optical drawings.
• Experience in ESD and cleanroom environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Able to use specialty software in a lab environment.
• US Citizenship or Qualified U.S. Worker.

Mansioni

• Assemble, align, and validate custom test fixtures.
• Assemble, align, and test opto-mechanical systems using interferometers and test equipment.
• Document all necessary test results following Good Documentation Practices.
• Edit system test work instructions, procedures, and compliance test documents.
• Provide summary reports of test results and project status to program managers and teams.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding Mechanical and Optical Drawings.
• Take on an expanded role in training and development of other technicians.
• Provide updates and data with customers when applicable.
• Interact with vendors for equipment support and troubleshooting.
• Support and maintain compliance to ISO certifications.
