Job summary

Jenoptik AG in Jupiter, FL, is seeking a Quality Engineer Level 1 to support quality systems in a manufacturing environment. The role involves data analysis, CAPA, and assisting in root-cause investigations for product and process issues.

Minimum AA/AS or BA/BS in a technical field with 3–5 years QA/QC experience; ISO standards familiarity; strong measurement tool proficiency and ERP (SAP) experience preferred. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• AA/AS or BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in QA/QC for design transfer, manufacturing and product release.
• Experience with ISO9001, ISO13485, IATF16949, AS9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and/or final quality control verification using MIT equipment.
• Provide back-up support for QA Inspection/Metrology (Calibration control).
• Act as quality representative in material review and supplier quality control.
• Collect, record and present quality data to production and test functions.
• Maintain KPI metrics in support of Quality G&O’s.
• Deliver QA data feedback to production floor and management.
• Support introduction of new products, processes and improvements.
• Review, update and process documentation to meet standards.
• Participate in audits and CAPA projects.
