Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of DFAR/FAR purchasing experience in aerospace/defense.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and government procurement regulations.
• U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.
• Active security clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and purchasing for optical components and electro‑optical hardware.
• Procure high‑value, technically complex components following FAR/DFARS/ITAR policies.
• Issue RFQs/RFPs and POs to qualified suppliers to meet production needs.
• Evaluate supplier quotations for technical compliance, cost, and delivery.
• Maintain long‑term supplier relationships and monitor performance.
