Job summary

Trinetix is seeking a Senior Transmission Implementation Engineer to join our Transmissions team, leading the build, expansion, and optimization of the optical transport network.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecom and hands-on experience with DWDM, Infinera, Nokia, and Ciena gear, plus strong documentation and communication skills. This role offers a competitive USD salary with flexible hours and medical benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a telecommunications company covering Plan, Build, and Operate functions.
• Proven DWDM network engineering experience in a telecom environment.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of listed platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Optical Transport Network within agreed lead times.
• Oversee installation, commissioning, testing, and service turn-up of optical transmission equipment.
• Perform DWDM link migrations in coordination with onsite technicians and vendors.
• Migrate services from EoL platforms and collaborate on expansion and decommissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors on delivery, installation, and commissioning of DWDM systems.
• Provide logistics support for equipment shipments between warehouses and sites.
• Maintain accurate documentation across systems and tools.
• Participate in deployment meetings with vendors and stakeholders.
• Support remote installations and guide onsite technicians remotely.
