Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience in optical systems engineering.
• Experience writing technical reports and making technical presentations.
• Creation and maintenance of interface control documents (ICDs).
• Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Writing requirements specifications, verification matrices, verification plans, and verification reports.
• Decomposition of complex systems into blocks with traceable requirements.
• Evaluating inputs from optical, mechanical, electrical and environmental domains.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluation of customer requirement documents.
• Develop robust program plans with tasks, trade studies, modelling and analyses.
• Create and maintain SOWs, performance specs, verification plans and verification artifacts.
• Interface with customers through lifecycle stages: validation, requirements, sell-off, and post-delivery support.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop optical system concepts and flow down requirements.
• Prepare and present materials for design reviews and customer meetings; support system-level testing.
