Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through their eyewear journey with knowledge of products and services.

This role emphasizes a human and bold approach to service, with licensure requirements per state guidelines and prior optical experience preferred. The Senior Optical Specialist will lead in-store activities, meet daily sales goals, train staff, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continued training and development
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including opening and closing the store in LEAD positions only
