Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead to be the face of our stores, guiding customers through eyewear and services with warmth and expertise. This role requires optical knowledge and a customer-first approach to deliver a seamless Visionworks experience.

The position emphasizes sales goals, product recommendations, and accurate measurements, with in-store leadership duties in LEAD positions. A valid state license or ABO is required where applicable, and previous optical experience

Qualifications

12 months optical experience required, or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
HS diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience.
Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
Measure patients/customers for eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continued training.
Execute day-to-day store operations to support financial and customer experience goals (LEAD positions).
