Job summary

Celgard in Concord, NC is seeking an Optical Inspection Technician to join the Quality team. You will develop and maintain optical inspection tests, calibrate systems, and create development film settings while collaborating with process engineers to improve monitoring.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associates of Applied Science in engineering or engineering technology, Electronics or IT preferred.
Manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

Develop quality tests procedures, SOPs and SOCs for FSM Optical Systems.
Maintain and update FSM Department quality tests, SOPs & SOCs; update troubleshooting guides.
Train floor optical support technicians on procedures and changes.
Provide advanced troubleshooting beyond guides; after-hours support may be required.
Maintain optical inspection systems through routine maintenance, calibration, and alignment checks.
Create optical inspection settings for development film; data analysis required.
Collaborate with Process engineers on process monitoring improvement activities.
Review optical inspection records for data integrity and corrections.
Perform quality investigations using archived data; interpret results and propose solutions.
