Leonardo DRS, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to lead sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for optics, optical assemblies, and precision components. Strong negotiation skills and understanding of optical materials will be essential.

Responsibilities include RFQ/RFP/PO execution, supplier evaluation, and ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS/ITAR. Candidates must have 5+ years in aerospace procurement and U.S. citizenship.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 5+ years of DFAR/FAR purchasing experience in Aerospace/Defense.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and U.S. government procurement rules.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and supplier negotiations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead sourcing, procurement, and supplier management for optics and precision components.
• Issue RFQs, RFPs, and POs; evaluate quotes for technical compliance and cost.
• Develop supplier relationships and manage delivery, quality, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, contracts, and legal on program objectives.
• Support supplier risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Input procurement data into ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
