Job summary

VisionWorks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through a human, bold, and simple eyewear journey.

The role requires optical knowledge, a focus on customer experience, and a track record of meeting sales goals. Qualified candidates will have 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification, HS diploma or GED, and the ability to maintain state license requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through ongoing training
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including opening and closing the store in LEAD positions
