Job Mission

We are looking for highly-talented and motivated individuals to join our Advanced Technology team. As Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the definition and execution of feasibility studies for new, ‘holistic’ application products that may bridge simulation and wafer data, optical sensor metrology, and modeling.

Job Description

As a Senior Design Engineer at ASML, you will conduct feasibility studies of application products related to optical sensor simulations of wafer alignment and metrology overlay sensors, utilizing this information to improve the quality of lithography system control. You will design, develop, and realize tasks for feasibility studies, which will involve setting up experiments, analyzing a large amount of sensor measurement data, and making recommendations for the ASML product portfolio. Optical simulation work will involve interacting with a large amount of data, for which knowledge of data science techniques is preferred. Additionally, you will be expected to interact with customers to understand issues and present new solutions. You will work closely with R&D, marketing, field application engineers, and sales in ASML, preparing and presenting technical data and papers at major conferences and to customers. Occasional overseas travel is required.

This position primarily works in an office environment, requiring frequent sitting, standing, and walking. Daily use of a computer is required, and you may stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings.
