Job summary

tastyfx, based in Chicago, IL, seeks an Operations Manager to bridge trading platforms with regulatory compliance. Hybrid role (3 days in office). Responsible for real-time platform monitoring, incident triage, and NFA/CFTC documentation, with a growth path under the MD.

Requirements include Series 3/34 preferred or willingness to obtain, and hands-on MT4/MT5 experience. You will own end-to-end regulatory reporting and capital charge oversight in a lean, fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Series 3 and 34 preferred; willing to obtain if not held.
• Hands-on MT4/MT5 platform administration experience.
• Direct exposure to NFA regulatory filings and compliance documentation.
• Strong written communication for regulatory documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily platform health checks across MT5, TradingView, ProRealTime, and tastyfx platform; confirm markets are online and systems perform as expected.
• Review overnight incidents; assess impact and reportability; elevate major incidents as needed.
• Serve as first responder for execution anomalies, stale pricing, order-server issues, and outages; resolve before MD escalation.
• Draft NFA incident reports and regulatory correspondence; obtain MD sign-off.
• Monitor NFA Discrepancy and Processing Reports; investigate discrepancies.
• Oversee capital charge obligations and reporting; coordinate with treasury/finance teams.
• Manage payment rails (ACH, wire, debit) and coordinate with processors to resolve issues.
• Lead data management, operational KPIs, and monthly reporting; drive process improvements.
