Job summary

tastyfx, a fintech trading arm within tastytrade/IG, seeks an Operations Manager for Trading & Regulatory Compliance in Chicago. The role covers real-time platform monitoring, regulatory documentation, capital charge oversight, and payment rail management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years in trading operations at an NFA/CFTC-regulated firm.
• Licensure: Series 3 and 34 preferred; willingness to obtain if not held.
• Hands-on MT4/MT5 platform administration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily platform health checks across MT5, TradingView, ProRealTime, and the tastyfx platform.
• Review overnight incidents and assess market impact and reportability.
• Serve as first responder for execution anomalies and platform outages; resolve before MD escalation.
• Liaise with IG Group core dealing and pricing teams on incidents.
• Process trade corrections and account-level remediations for affected customers.
• Investigate trade disputes and prepare clear regulatory documents.
• Monitor margin calls and escalate large systemic cases as needed.
• Support MT4-to-MT5 migration; track progress and client impact.
• Maintain runbooks, escalation procedures, and SLAs for incident response.
• Analyze operational risk events and implement corrective actions.
